Water-Tree-Retardant-XLPE Compound for Mv Power Cable Insulation
The TR-XLPE Compound for MV Power Cable Insulation was made by a mixture of a plasticization and a granulation with low-density polyethylene (basic resin), water tree inhibitors, age inhibitors, compatibilizers and other additives. The TR-XLPE Compound doesn't contain harmful substances, such as heavy metals. It has excellent mechanical, electrical and heat aging properties, a good stability, a smooth surface, and a significant water resistance effect. It has passed the power industry standard product qualification test of DL / T 1070-2007 "The appraisal test and requirement of water treeing retardation performance of middle voltage XLPE cable". The product gained the National Invention Patent with the patent No. ZL200710168264.8. in June, 2009,

Super cleaning requirements  
TR-XLPE Compound for MV Power Cable is required to comply with strict standard in the cleaning aspect. During the overall process, loading, extruding and packaging are all strictly controlled; and the overall process is performed in a confined environment. The sample is tested by a laboratorial impurity detector during the process periodically. The impurity content of 1 kg-sampling complies with the following requirements: The number of impurity particles with 0.175~0.250 mm diameter should be no more than 5; maximum allowable in 0.250 mm.
Processing technique   
Over a broad range of processing technique, TR-XLPE compound can still provide excellent extrusion capacity and smooth surface. For optimum results, melt extrusion temperature in the range of 100 ºCto 120 ºC are recommended.
Storage and transport
      Keep away from sunshine and rain during the transport, and store in clean, dry and ventilated warehouse. The product may be stored for up to 6 months without opening at normal temperature. Please pay attention to moisture.
